Football's Brandon Crawford to Appear on ESPN's First Take
Brandon Crawford (Fort Wayne, Ind./South H.S.), a senior member of the Ball State University football team, is scheduled to appear on ESPN First Take Tuesday.
The show, hosted by Jay Crawford and Dana Jacobson, airs on ESPN2 from 10 a.m. to Noon. Crawford is expected to be on at approximately 11:40 a.m.
Crawford is a co-captain on Ball State’s 25th-ranked football team, which is off to a 6-0 start and a 3-0 beginning in the Mid-American Conference. The Cardinals are ranked for the first time in the 84-year history of the football program after reaching the 25th spot in this week’s Associated Press Poll.
Crawford is a 32-year-old Marine turned collegiate football player. He leads the Cardinals with five tackles for loss and is tied for third on the team with two sacks. A 2007 All-MAC Third Team selection, Crawford worked in an automotive factory after high school graduation and before joining the Marine Corp in 1999. He began his football career at Ball State in 2006.
Ball State, led by head coach Brady Hoke, will play at Western Kentucky Saturday in a game scheduled for 6 p.m. (CT) kickoff.
