Social Sellout Attempt Announced for Ball State Football Home Opener

MUNCIE, Ind. – With about a month to go until the Ball State football home opener, will you get behind the Cardinals' "Social Sellout" attempt?
When head coach Mike Neu and the Ball State football team open the home slate on Sept. 9 against UAB at 3 p.m., fans will have the opportunity to take part in a number of promotions highlighted by the "Social Sellout" effort. The game is presented by MutualBank.
"Our hope is to foster several opportunities for Ball State fans to pack Scheumann Stadium for the home opener," said Director of Athletics, Mark Sandy. "But the Social Sellout concept is a unique way to engage our fans near and far and let them be part of something special to kick off the season."
Fans can view the Social Sellout details below:
-With the game hosted on Sept. 9, a "9.9. for $9" deal will be in place for general admission tickets for a limited time (pricing only good for advanced purchases through August 31)
-Fans may keep the ticket(s) and attend the game, donate their purchased ticket(s) to a Muncie youth organization or transfer their ticket(s) to a friend via Account Manager. Fans are just a couple of clicks from taking part.

-Ball State students enjoy complimentary admission but students who sit in The Nest will receive a Social Sellout Rally Towel courtesy of MutualBank while supplies last.

Additional promotions for the home opener are as follows:
-City of Muncie Day – All Muncie residents will receive specially-priced tickets (must be purchased in advance) and Muncie organizations like the Boys & Girls Club, Youth Opportunity Center and the Buley Center will be the recipients of any donated tickets from the Social Sellout campaign.
-Military and Public Safety Appreciation Day – All fans with military or public safety ID may receive one free general admission ticket. In addition, Ford will present its Oval of Honor to military veterans at a ceremony inside Cardinal Village.
-Band Day - several Indiana high school bands will perform throughout the day including halftime.
-Cardinal Village and CharlieTown will be rocking pregame outside of the stadium with food, fun, giveaways and live band, The 5 Speeds, and a DJ.
-The first 5,000 fans in attendance will receive the Social Sellout Rally Towel courtesy of MutualBank.
