From the Coach – Head Coach Rich Maloney
"We got two excellent pitching performances and contributions from several different guys offensively."
Coach Maloney on Win 900
"This is a tribute to all the players I have had the privilege of coaching and all the assistants who came alongside of me, they made both me and our players better. When milestones like this happen, it is contributions from so many different people, the support of administration, donors, family, and friends. Winning is hard, hats off to my players through the years who allowed me to challenge them, push them, encourage, and love them. They are why I became a coach. I thank God for the privilege of coaching at two outstanding universities. Milestones give us the opportunity to reflect on the relationships built, the amazing accomplishments many of our teams have had, the heartbreaks, the individual accomplishments of so many great players. This accomplishment is for all of those who chose to believe. A special thanks to all of you who played a role in the success we have shared together over the years. I am so thankful."
