Twelve Cardinals Take Part in Pro Day Prior to NFL Draft

MUNCIE, Ind. -- A day after the NFL Combine concluded in Indianapolis, and ahead of the NFL Draft in late April, Ball State conducted its annual pro day on Monday afternoon at the Scheumann Family Indoor Practice Facility, to showcase Ball State athletes in front of pro scouts.
Scheduled out of convenience for scouts for NFL teams who were already in the state for last weekend's Combine event, 12 former Ball State players worked out in front of over a dozen scouts who measured the Cardinals in the vertical jump and broad jump, the 40-yard dash, bench press, various shuttle and cone drills, and position-specific workouts intended evaluate a player's value in advance of the upcoming draft and free agency.
Participation in Monday's pro day featured four offensive players, six on defense and a pair of specialists: LB Alfred Chea, OT Adam Dolan, TE Koby Gross, DT Scott Hudson, QB/ATH Kiael Kelly, DB Joedrick Lewis, WR Qian Magwood, DB Muheem McCarto, PK DC Pippin, P Adam Saul, LB Joey Stemler and DE Nathan Voorhis.
The 91st annual NFL Draft is scheduled for April 23-25 in Pittsburgh.
